With Full Hearts
Every holiday season in December finds the West Point Parents Club of Central Florida working hard to help forge stronger bonds between our area military veterans and current Cadets through volunteer service and face-to-face time at participating veterans facilities in the Sunshine State.
Our Cadets appreciate the sacrifice and honor with which these treasured veterans served our nation, just as these veterans appreciate the commitment and dedication our future Army officers are displaying as they follow in their footsteps as men and women in uniform. For a few hours, these two sides of service share stories and experiences that are invaluable and often heart-warming.
We chose this time of year to help give back to our veterans with full and thankful hearts because this is perhaps the single greatest amount of time our young Cadets have back home with their families during their learning years. West Point is an exceptionally busy and demanding place. Our Cadets' work is never over whether they are laboring near the Hudson River, in Central Florida, or elsewhere in the world.
Our Club welcomes your participation and interest in Operation Gratitude and we invite you to join us anytime you can. With full hearts, our nation prospers greatly!
