Quest to be the Best
The quest to be the best at military skills brought forty-four teams to West Point, New York, representing 25 United States Military Academy teams, 16 Reserve Officer Training Corps programs, and three U.S. service academies - Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard - for the 52nd Annual Sandhurst Military Skills Competition.

West Point notes, “The Sandhurst competition teaches cadets the mental and physical toughness, the relentlessness and the discipline that’s necessary to work as a team to accomplish the mission,” according to Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, U.S. Military Academy Superintendent. “It also strengthens relationships with our allies and partners to foster multi-national cohesion and interoperability while showcasing the tenacity and grit of future military leaders from across the world.”
A West Point Sandhurst team, USMA Black, won 2021 honors. A number of our Central Florida Cadets participated in the 2021 competition.
