It's Just the Beginning
Being a Cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point is a 47-month journey. Nothing about this journey is designed to be easy. In fact, the Army prides itself on delivering a leadership-growing experience that will test each and every one of them academically, athletically, and militarily. Cadets forge lifelong bonds with the these they encounter at the Academy, not to mention the Academy itself.
Graduation is a magical moment when the 47-month journey ends and the Army career really begins. Cadets will be individually recognized for their accomplishment and immediately will transition into the Army Officer Corps as Second Lieutenants.
