You are Invited!
The All Academy Ball, formally known as the United States Service Academies Military Ball, is an annual event honoring and connecting cadets, midshipmen, alumni and parents of the five federal service academies in our area: the U.S Military Academy at West Point, New York; the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland; the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado; the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London, Connecticut; and, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York.
For more than 27 years, the parents clubs of the five U.S. service academies in Central Florida have worked together to create an appreciation event for the young men and women who attend our nation's service academies. This formal event, which is held in other communities around the nation as well, has been a way for us to celebrate and encourage these future leaders and thank them for their willingness to serve our great nation.
This signature event, hosted this year by the West Point Parents Club of Central Florida, is an opportunity for the cadets and midshipmen to enjoy friendship, good food, a memorable speaker, and much more. We would love for you to join us for this inspiring evening in late December. The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando will be sporting her finest holiday decorations just to make the occasion even a little more special!

FAQs
What are service academy parents clubs?
This year, the All-Academy Ball, formally known as the 27th Annual United States Service Academies Military Ball, is spearheaded by the West Point Parents Club of Central Florida, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our parent volunteers work together with sponsors and donors to underwrite and organize this annual event. All monies raised are to support bringing together military cadets/midshipmen and families and help to defray the cost of this celebration of service by our young men and women.
What is the purpose of the All Academy Ball?
Each year, one of the academies serve as host for the event. Last year, the privilege fell to Navy, and the year before to Air Force. The 2021 All Academy Ball is an Army event this year. Our shared mission is to honor the young men and women that have committed themselves to our country. We also solicit and encourage Central Florida politicians and businesses to support this marquee event by attending or through sponsorship.
What happens at the event?
Central Florida cadets and midshipmen along with their date, family, grandparents, and friends will enjoy a unique experience at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Orlando. Click here to learn more about the property.
When/where is the event?
The 27th Annual All-Academy Ball will be held at the elegant Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Orlando. The reception starts at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 7:45 pm.
Who attends?
All cadets, midshipmen, their dates, family members and friends. In addition, elected officials, community leaders, business leaders, first responders, teachers, and any citizen who wishes to support our outstanding military academies.
How much does it cost to attend the event?
Early bird individual ticket prices are $90 through November 18th. Individual ticket prices then rise to $110 each, effective November 19th.
Why is the event held the last week of December between Christmas and New Years?
We recognize that this is a tough time of the year to hold the All Academy Ball but this is one of the few times in a year of intensive service that our West Point and other Academy Cadets and Midshipmen are home on leave. Semester finals end just a few days earlier than our Ball date and the next semester begins just a few days later. Thus, the date!
What is the dress code?
Dress Uniforms for cadets and midshipmen. Family and friends should wear dress attire (formal/semi formal).
Can I volunteer to help?
Yes, by all means! We need cadets, midshipmen, and parents to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering or considering to volunteer, thank you! This memorable event requires a lot of help from anyone ages 14 and older. Some of the volunteer opportunities include:
